Bell & Barter | South Africa

Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek pre orders have entered South African space.

Four Commander decks. Collector's Editions in full Surge Foil. Draft Night, Bundles and Scene Boxes across sixty years of Star Trek. If you were waiting for an excuse to put Picard, Spock, Worf or the Borg Queen in the command zone, this is the transmission.

Choose your command

Four captains' chairs. Pick the one that plays like you do.

The four Star Trek Commander decks are mechanically different, not just differently dressed boxes. The quickest way to choose is by the thing you want to be doing when turn six arrives.

Picard builds a crew and charges starships. Spock turns exploration into a landfall engine. Worf has clearly decided diplomacy has had enough screen time. The Borg would prefer you stop calling those creatures yours.

Federation Fleet

Jean-Luc Picard | Crew, card draw and starships

Picard wants a capable crew and a charged fleet. If you like several parts of a board working together before you give the order to engage, report to the bridge.

Landing Party

Commander Spock | Landfall and exploration

Spock turns new lands into new opportunities. Play your land, trigger the engine, keep exploring. A landfall deck built around strange new worlds is, frankly, only logical.

Klingon Fury

Worf | Warriors and multiplayer combat

Worf rewards you for attacking more than one opponent. If your Commander diplomacy usually ends in combat anyway, Klingon Fury simply gets to the point sooner.

Build the Collective, deploy Borg tokens and assimilate enemy forces into something more useful. Your opponents may discover that ownership was temporary.

Standard or Collector's Edition

Same mission. Considerably more foil.

Both versions give you a complete 100-card Commander deck. The decision is mostly about what happens after game night: shuffle it without ceremony, or pause for half a second every time the light catches the deck.

Commander is not the whole away team.

Draft Night puts four players around one box. The Bundle feeds the pack-opening itch. Scene Boxes turn six playable cards into one connected piece of art. The Beam Me Up Bundle leans into starships, schematics and premium extras. Different mission, different kit.

The complete Bell & Barter range

Choose by what you want to do, not by which box is largest.

Playing Commander, drafting with friends, opening packs and collecting connected artwork are different reasons to buy into the set. These are the Star Trek pre orders currently in our catalogue.

South African preorder log

Stardate confirmed. Courier date, less so.

Wizards has set the global tabletop release for 13 November 2026. A South African preorder still has to travel through allocation, distribution and local delivery before it reaches your door. That is why we keep release information visible on the product itself instead of pretending every date in the chain is the same date.

Where we have a specific local dispatch estimate, it appears with the preorder. If timing changes materially, the product information is updated.

Mixed ordersOne parcel can have two stardates.

If an order contains an in-stock item and a future release, the future item can affect when the order is ready to move. If you need the in-stock item immediately, a separate order is the cleaner option.
